A grinding machine, often "grinder", is a power tool used for grinding, which is a type of machining using an abrasive wheel as the cutting tool. Grinding is used to finish workpieces that must show high surface quality and high accuracy of shape or dimension.
Depending on the application besides equivalent eye protection almost always a proper respiratory protection (PAPR) is also necessary, which provides the worker with clean breathing air.
