ATEX-certified equipment and systems must be used when explosive atmospheres can occur. The e3000X PAPR system is intended for use in areas with explosive atmospheres. Users are protected, if flammable gases, vapours or dusts are released for short periods (Zone 2 and 22).

The optrel e3000X PAPR system is now ATEX Zone 2 and 22 certified.
